Who am I?
My name is Alexandre Mendes, and I’m a french developper. I also practice 3D/VFX and photography on my spare time for a few years.
After a scientific Baccalaureat, I went to Preparatory Classes for Grandes Ecoles, then followed the Bachelor cursus at Epitech, a french Computer Sciences school. During this time I also played with differents 3D software, following tutorials found on the web and differents training from authorized trainers like Digital Tutors, Elephorm, etc.
My qualifications therefore range from sciences, to computer engineering and graphics.

- And I’ll try to post some interessting stuff in the blog, like screencast video tutorials, writtend tutorials, 3D/programming tips, Work In Progress, or just some news about Computer Graphics.
I have a basic knowledge of a wide variety of software, like Maya, Vue, Modo, 3dsMax, Composite, Photoshop, After Effects, Maxwell Render.
I also practiced photography as a hobby, and I know all the basic knowledge and some specialised techniques, like panoramas, HDR photography, long-exposure shots, etc.
